The Elementum is the perfect gift knife. Open and close is very smooth. It’s heavy enough to feel substantial yet light so light you can forget it’s in you pocket. Above all it’s beautiful.

I think the CIVIVI Fixed Blade Elementum C2104A with the black / red G10 contoured handle is perfect for Dad and his outdoor activities.

I think the Civivi Crit would be the best father’s day knife, thinking the extra functionality of a multi tool withouth much extra thickness makes it the best option.

Any Civivi Damascus knife , I love them all !

Fixed blade knives are fine for the outdoors (camping and such), but for Father’s Day, a Civvi EDC folder in a 3.25" range would give Dad something he could carry everywhere, no matter the “dress code of the day.” That length blade also opens up a wide variety of blade steels for a folder. One of my personal favs for the dollar conscious would be D2. On the more expensive side, any steel by Crucible (CPM) or Bohler, would put the giver at the top of the family inheritance chart.
