My name is Geoff Blauvelt ,I’m from schwenksville Pennsylvania. I come from a fine arts background and have tried to incorporate my art style into my knives. I started Tuffknives in 2011 on YouTube as a knife reviewer, then knife modder. I befriended John gray and learned to build knives and start my own company selling my own folders under johns tutoring. Having already established a following from my YouTube days and modding hundreds of production knives, i was able to transition smoothly into my own custom folders. I’ve moved to Instagram as my main outlet and have been at it to this day. I try and use minimal machinery and take a more hands on approach to knifemaking and keep a more handmade open style to my work.
