Jason Guthrie (Norway)

Jason Guthrie started his knife making career back in 2014 at his family owned shooting range in South Africa. Working as a firearms instructor and dealer, he gained lots of experience gunsmithing and working on machines, acquiring a fine eye for detail and quality.

Jason was also an avid knife collector for many years and enjoyed spending time writing reviews on knives he owned for forums he took part in.

He then decided to come up with his own knife design and this is where his real dream for knife making and passion started. His first knife, the “Ranger” was the result of putting all the qualities of a knife together that he would personally love to carry.

In 2020 Jason emigrated to Norway where he now lives on a mountain overlooking the beautiful Otra river and has his workshop at his residence. When Jason is not in the workshop making knives, he is out hiking with his family or fishing in the beautiful norwegian rivers.
