George Muhlestein
George Muhlestein has had a thing for knives since way before it was socially acceptable. He started in the knife industry writing about knives, and eventually started making videos about them. Over the years, he learned to love all of the nuances of what makes a knife great, be it blade steel, edge geometry, handle design, lock mechanics, or whatever else you can think of. After his nerdiness reached critical mass, he started designing his own knives, and will tell anyone who will listen about every little design choice in them.
Outside of knives, George loves to tie knots, shoot slingshots, play the guitar, and cook Tex Mex delights on the smoker. He has a wife that’s way too good for him and four little boys who can’t wait until they’re old enough to carry knives of their own!
Thomas Knives
Thomas Knives is the father-son knifemaking duo of Darrin and Hayden Thomas. The Thomas name is knife royalty. Darrin’s twin brother Devin is a master Damascus steel blacksmith and a Cutlery Hall of Fame inductee, and Devin’s son Larrin is the knife industry’s favorite metallurgist. Darrin and Hayden run their own custom knifemaking operation, and have begun their production journey with WE Knife Co!
Darrin and Hayden are both huge Japanese culture fans, skilled chess players, jazz musicians, and have a strange fascination with growing, processing, and cooking with corn.
