My father has been a knife enthusiast for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is how much he liked a sharpening system my brother’s and I gave him for for Christmas, He and share a common enthusiasm for knives. I’ve been really impressed with the Civivi knives I’ve purchased and was gonna get him one for his upcoming birthday, til I learned about this giveaway that is. Fingers crossed, maybe I can win one for him instead!

My Dad is not actually a knife person. He had some health issues for some time and to be honest, recently he is rather negative to everything and almost everyone. But when I was searching for a knife for myself, I showed him an Appalachian Drifter. And I saw tears in his eyes because it looks exactly like the pocket knife that his father (my grandpa) gave him 60+ years ago and it was my father’s best companion during his childhood. Definitely that memory lift him and his heart up for a few moments! Thank You for that.

He like all types of knifes. Uses them for work so was thinking of getting him a new one since he has had the same old one for years now.

He only has one, the Altus button-lock. But, it’s always in his pocket. He forever law enforcement, so black and/or blue colorways are his go-to.

He likes big folding type knives. He never leaves home without a pocket knife. He says you never know when you’re going to need a sharp knife.

I can only speak for good dads. My dad sucked but I promised myself when I had kids I will strive to be the best dad possible. Now i have three daughters. All great kids. Spend a ton of time with them played basketball fishing wrestling. Now they are all older 33 25 19. I miss those days when they were young. They all turned out to be great women. Two college graduates.( that’s why I’m broke) lol. Worth every penny.
