My dad is the best, he is 80 now and still likes to whittle. He taught me everything I needed to know to be a good man and I love him for it. I wish I could give him this awesome knife to enjoy.

My dad passed when I was 18 and was not a great father to his children. This has been my drive to be the best father I can be to my children. Having something like this to pass down to my son would be amazing.

I was given one of my Dads knives, it is an old 1950’s Case knife, kept in the desk to open letters. I have every confidence that my new CIVIVI knife will be handed down to my son. But not for a few years yet.

Me and my dad have always loved being outside together. We use our Civivi/WE knives for fishing, camping and backpacking.

My dad gave me a beautiful knife for birthday about 40 yrs ago and I treasure it to this day!!!!

Listening to Dad as he passed down knowledge to me was the best times of growing up. Now I pass on that knowledge to my Son. Though Civivi wasn’t around when my Dad taught me about quality knives, I only wish I can teach my Son about Civivi and the same knife skills and safety my Dad taught me.

My father and grandfather taught me to appreciate quality. Looks were fine but quality in a knife enabled me to pass it on so that the legacy continued. "If it has the Barlow name on it you will know it will last, grandpa said many years ago. In my knife purchases over the decades I have attempted to remember that. I am nearing the point in which I will instill that notion in my grandchildern so that they too will pass on this legacy of quality over price, both in knives and life…….
